Summer Equip: WORLDVIEWS

Worldviews2

This four week class will be an exploration of how we got to where we are culturally by studying our cultural history from pre-modern, to modern, to post-modern, and finally to post-post modern. Grappling with these ideas will help us make disciples in the current cultural situation, or contested space, that we all inhabit.

We are privileged to have Dr. Bob Hicks, a CrossPointe Winter Park Partner, teaching and equipping us this summer for this 4 week class. Here's some information you may not know about Bob...

Dr. Robert Michael Hicks, a military chaplain of 32 years and a retired colonel of the United States Air Force, has also served as an undergraduate and graduate instructor at various institutions. Currently, he is adjunct professor of history at Belhaven University in Orlando, Florida. A published author of eleven books including bestsellers Masculine Journey and Failure to Scream, Hicks also regularly consults with military and law enforcement agencies and has made more than 300 radio and TV appearances.

These classes will take place at The Branch (1335 Howell Branch Road, Winter Park, 32789).
